Messier 45
M45, also known as the Pleiades or Seven Sisters, is a bright open star cluster in the constellation Taurus and one of the most prominent stellar groupings in the night sky. The cluster contains hundreds of young, hot stars that formed from the same giant molecular cloud and are moving through space together. Surrounding the brightest stars is a complex network of blue reflection nebulae, created as starlight is scattered by fine interstellar dust. Observing and studying M45 provides valuable insights into the evolution of young star clusters, stellar formation, and the interaction between stars and the interstellar medium.
